What happens if crystal goes in the dishwasher?
Crystal can come out cloudy, etched, or chipped. Cloudiness from hard-water film can sometimes be polished off with vinegar, but etching from detergent and heat is permanent. Delicate stems can also crack from vibration against the rack.
