Can you put nonstick pans in the dishwasher?
Even when a nonstick pan is labeled dishwasher safe, hand washing usually preserves the coating longer.

What to watch
- Do not dishwash if the handle is wood, soft-touch, or loose.
- Avoid stacking wet nonstick pans without protection.
- Discard pans with peeling coating.
